SuspensionLift Kits
We install lift kits from Rough Country, BDS Suspension, Fabtech, ReadyLIFT, Icon, and Fox — from 2-inch spacer lifts to 12"+ full suspension systems with extended brake lines, CV angle correction, and driveshaft modifications. Every lift includes a 4-wheel alignment on our Hunter HawkEye Elite at no extra charge.
Lift Kit Options
The right lift height depends on your tire goals, towing needs, and whether the truck sees off-road trails near Dallas-Fort Worth or stays on pavement.
2–3" Spacer Lift
Bolt-on spacers that raise your truck economically while preserving factory suspension components. Fits 33" tires on most half-ton trucks. Ideal for a leveled-and-then-some look without altering suspension geometry significantly.
4–6" Suspension Lift
Replaces factory springs, struts, and control arms with upgraded components from Rough Country, BDS, or Fabtech. Clears 35" tires with proper trimming. Includes extended brake lines and rear bump-stop extensions. This is our most popular lift range.
8–12"+ Full Suspension
The show truck / extreme off-road build. Complete suspension overhaul with new knuckles, extended A-arms, relocated shocks, carrier bearing drop, SYE kit, and custom driveshaft. Clears 37"–40"+ tires for maximum ground clearance.
The Metroplex Advantage
Why Choose
Metroplex?
Lifting a truck incorrectly causes driveline vibrations, premature CV joint failure, and steering wander. We engineer every lift — accounting for driveshaft angles, CV limits, and brake line travel — so your truck rides smooth and tracks straight at highway speed on I-35.
Driveline Angle Correction
Lifts over 3" change your driveshaft's operating angle. We install carrier bearing drops, transmission spacers, or SYE (Slip Yoke Eliminator) kits as needed to keep vibration-free at highway speeds.
Rough Country, BDS, Fabtech & More
We install kits from the brands that serious truck owners trust: Rough Country, BDS Suspension, Fabtech, ReadyLIFT, Icon Vehicle Dynamics, Fox Racing, and Bilstein. Full manufacturer warranties on every kit.
Alignment Included — Always
Every lift we install includes a 4-wheel alignment on our Hunter HawkEye Elite at no extra charge. A lifted truck without alignment eats through front tires in 5,000 miles — we see it constantly from other shops.

Re-gearing the differential is critical after lifts over 4" when running 35"+ tires. Larger tires effectively raise your gear ratio — a truck geared at 3.42:1 from the factory behaves like 2.90:1 on 35s. Your engine lugs at highway speed, the transmission hunts between gears, and fuel economy drops 3–5 MPG. We always discuss re-gearing (typically to 4.56 or 4.88) as part of the build plan for any serious lift.
The Process
Build Planning
We discuss your tire goals, towing needs, and whether the truck sees trail duty. We design the lift configuration and spec all required components.
Component Sourcing
We order the complete kit matched to your truck's exact platform — including brake line extensions, bump stops, and any driveshaft modifications required.
Expert Installation
Our team installs every component to manufacturer torque specs, verifies brake line routing, checks CV angles, and addresses any driveline vibration.
Alignment & Road Test
4-wheel Hunter HawkEye alignment, 20+ mile road test at highway speeds, and final inspection before delivery. We verify zero vibration and straight tracking.
Avoid These Pitfalls
Common Mistakes We Fix
We regularly correct lift jobs from other shops and DIY installs. These are the failures we see most often.
Skipping Alignment After Lift
A lift changes caster, camber, and toe. Without alignment, your truck will pull to one side and eat through front tires in 5,000 miles. We include a Hunter HawkEye 4-wheel alignment with every lift — no exceptions.
Ignoring Driveline Vibration
Lifts over 3" change your driveshaft's operating angle. Shops that don't install carrier bearing drops or transmission spacers leave the customer with a vibration that worsens over time and damages U-joints.
Used Cheap Coil Spacers That Compress
Budget polyurethane spacers compress under load over time, causing the truck to settle unevenly. We use billet aluminum spacers or properly rated lift springs that maintain their height for the life of the vehicle.
No Bump Stop Extension
Without extending bump stops after a lift, your axle can contact the frame during full compression — damaging brake lines, shocks, and the frame itself. We extend or relocate bump stops on every lift.
