PrecisionWheel Alignment
We align on a Hunter HawkEye Elite — the same system used by Porsche, BMW, and Mercedes dealerships. It uses four high-resolution cameras to measure camber, caster, toe, thrust angle, and SAI to 0.01° accuracy. Whether your car is stock, lowered, lifted, or running coilovers — we set alignment to OE specs or your custom targets.
Alignment Services
Every vehicle — stock or modified — needs proper alignment for even tire wear, straight tracking, and safe handling. We handle them all.
Standard Alignment
Full 4-wheel alignment to OE manufacturer specifications. We adjust toe, camber (where adjustable), and set caster for straight tracking. Includes before/after printout showing exactly what was adjusted and where your specs now sit.
Post-Modification Alignment
After suspension work — lifts, levels, lowering springs, coilovers — alignment specs change dramatically. We realign to corrected specs that account for your new ride height. Camber plates, eccentric bolts, or adjustable arms installed as needed.
Performance / Track Alignment
Custom alignment specs for track cars, autocross, and spirited street driving. Negative camber for cornering grip, zero-toe or slight toe-out for responsive turn-in. We work from your target spec sheet or help develop one based on your driving style.
The Metroplex Advantage
Why Choose
Metroplex?
We align on a Hunter HawkEye Elite — not a budget laser alignment tool from the 1990s. The HawkEye uses four high-resolution cameras positioned at each wheel to measure every primary and secondary angle simultaneously with 0.01° precision.
Hunter HawkEye Elite System
Four-camera system that measures camber, caster, toe, thrust angle, SAI, and included angle simultaneously. 0.01° accuracy with live adjustments displayed on screen. The same system used by luxury OEM dealerships.
Before/After Printout
Every alignment comes with a printed report showing your vehicle's angles before and after adjustment, compared against OE specifications. You see exactly what was out and how it was corrected.
Modified Vehicle Expertise
Lifted trucks, lowered cars, and coilover-equipped vehicles require alignment knowledge that goes beyond standard OE specs. We adjust targets based on your ride height and driving style — not just set default values.

Toe is the tire-wear killer — even 0.10° of toe misalignment causes visible feathering within 5,000 miles. In Dallas-Fort Worth, where we hit potholes, construction plates, and curbs regularly, toe gets knocked out of spec faster than any other angle. That's why we recommend an alignment check every 12 months or after any significant impact — a pothole on I-35 at 70 mph can shift toe enough to start eating tires immediately.
The Process
Inspection
We inspect tire condition, check for worn steering and suspension components, and verify tire pressures. No point aligning over worn ball joints or tie rods.
Measurement
Hunter HawkEye cameras mounted, initial readings captured across all primary and secondary angles. Before-specs documented.
Adjustment
Toe, camber, and caster adjusted to OE spec or your custom targets. Live camera feed shows real-time angle changes during adjustment.
Verification
Final measurement, before/after printout generated, and brief road test to verify straight tracking and centered steering wheel.
Avoid These Pitfalls
Common Mistakes We Fix
Bad alignment — or bad alignment correction — causes expensive tire wear and unsafe handling.
Aligning Over Worn Components
Aligning a car with worn tie rod ends or ball joints is pointless — the angles will shift back within days. We inspect steering and suspension components before every alignment and recommend replacement where needed.
Aligning Modified Vehicles to Stock Specs
A car that's been lowered 2" on coilovers needs different alignment specs than stock. Shops that use default OE specs on modified vehicles leave excessive negative camber, causing rapid inside-edge tire wear.
Laser Alignment on Complex Suspensions
Budget laser alignment tools measure toe only — they can't measure camber, caster, or thrust angle. On modern multi-link suspensions, all four angles are critical. The Hunter HawkEye measures everything simultaneously.
Skipping Alignment After Suspension Work
Any suspension change — lifts, levels, springs, coilovers, even shock replacement on some vehicles — alters alignment geometry. We see tires ruined in 500 miles from customers who skipped realignment after suspension mods.
