CompleteCar Protection

Car protection is a layered strategy — not a single product. We combine PPF (physical barrier), ceramic coating (chemical barrier), window tint (UV/heat rejection), and interior treatments into a comprehensive protection package tailored to your vehicle and the Dallas-Fort Worth climate. The Texas sun, acid rain from industrial corridors, and I-35 construction debris attack your car from every angle — we seal every one.

Protection Layers

Each protection layer addresses a different threat. PPF stops rocks. Ceramic repels contaminants. Tint blocks UV and heat. Together, they make your vehicle virtually maintenance-free.

PPF + Ceramic Combo

UltraFit Paint Protection Film on high-impact zones, topped with 9H SiO₂ ceramic coating across the entire vehicle. The PPF absorbs physical impacts while the ceramic provides hydrophobic chemical protection and UV resistance.

Ceramic Window Tint

XPEL PRIME XR Plus or 3M Crystalline ceramic window film rejects up to 98% of infrared heat without metallic interference. In Dallas-Fort Worth summers where cabin temperatures hit 160°F+, ceramic tint drops interior temps by 20–30°F.

Interior Protection

Ceramic-based interior coating for leather seats, dashboards, and trim. UV-resistant formula prevents cracking and fading that Dallas-Fort Worth sun causes within 2–3 years on unprotected interiors. Adds stain resistance to fabric upholstery.

The Metroplex Advantage

Why Choose
Metroplex?

We design protection packages as a system, not individual products. PPF goes on first (physical layer), ceramic coating goes on top of the PPF and exposed paint (chemical layer), and ceramic window tint completes the UV defense. Each layer is applied in our climate-controlled bay with proper cure times between steps.

Layered System Design

We apply protection in the correct order — surface prep first, then PPF, then ceramic coating on top of both PPF and paint. Applying ceramic before PPF wastes coating and reduces PPF adhesion. The order matters.

Climate-Controlled Application

All protection work is done in our Irving bay at controlled temperature and humidity. Dallas-Fort Worth's 100°F+ summers cause premature curing of both PPF adhesive and ceramic coating. Controlled environment = perfect results.

Single-Source Accountability

When you get PPF, ceramic, and tint from us, there's one warranty, one point of contact, and no finger-pointing between shops. If something needs attention, we handle it — period.

Pro Tip from the Shop

Application order matters more than most customers realize. PPF must go on before ceramic coating — always. If ceramic is applied first, the PPF adhesive can't bond to the SiO₂ layer properly, causing edge lifting within months. We apply PPF on decontaminated paint, cure it for 24–48 hours, then apply ceramic coating on top of the PPF and all remaining exposed paint. The ceramic amplifies the PPF's gloss and adds hydrophobic properties to the film. Done in the right order, the result is better than either product alone.

The Process

01

Vehicle Assessment

We inspect paint condition, assess interior wear, and design a protection package based on your vehicle, parking situation, and budget.

02

Decontamination & Correction

Full decontamination wash, clay bar, and paint correction as needed. Every protection layer is only as good as the surface underneath.

03

Protection Application

PPF installed first, cured 24–48 hours. Then ceramic coating applied to PPF and exposed paint. Window tint installed. Interior coated last.

04

Final Cure & Delivery

Infrared cure on ceramic, LED inspection of all PPF edges, tint bubble check, and personalized aftercare walkthrough before delivery.

Avoid These Pitfalls

Common Mistakes We Fix

Protection products are only effective when applied correctly and in the right order. Here's what goes wrong.

Ceramic Coating Applied Before PPF

Shops that apply ceramic first prevent PPF adhesive from bonding properly to the paint. The PPF lifts at edges within months. The correct order is always: decontaminate → PPF → cure → ceramic on top.

Cheap Tint Film That Bubbles and Fades

Budget dyed tint films bubble and turn purple within 1–2 years in Dallas-Fort Worth sun. We use ceramic films (XPEL PRIME XR Plus, 3M Crystalline) that maintain appearance and performance for 10+ years.

No Paint Correction Before Coating

Ceramic coating locks in whatever is underneath — swirl marks, water spots, oxidation. Shops that skip paint correction deliver a car that looks worse under direct light than it did before coating.

Applying Protection in Uncontrolled Environment

Dust, pollen, and humidity contaminate PPF adhesive and ceramic coating during application. Our HEPA-filtered, temperature-controlled bay eliminates these variables that plague open-garage installations.

Got Questions?

Frequently Asked Questions

A complete protection package layers multiple products: PPF (physical barrier against rock chips), ceramic coating (chemical barrier against contaminants and UV), ceramic window tint (heat and UV rejection), and interior coating (leather/fabric/dashboard protection). Together, they protect every surface of your vehicle from Dallas-Fort Worth environmental damage.

Always: paint correction first, then PPF, then ceramic coating on top of PPF and exposed paint, then window tint, then interior coating last. This order ensures proper adhesion at every layer. Applying ceramic before PPF prevents the film from bonding properly.

Depending on the package level, 2–7 business days. Essential packages take 2–3 days. Premium packages with full-front PPF and ceramic take 3–4 days. Ultimate packages with full-body PPF take 5–7 days. Each layer needs proper cure time between applications.

Yes — they complement each other. PPF provides the physical impact resistance that ceramic can't (rock chips, scratches). Ceramic provides the hydrophobic, self-cleaning properties that PPF doesn't have natively. Applied together, the result is superior to either product alone.

PPF lasts 7–10 years. Ceramic coating lasts 5–10 years. Ceramic window tint lasts 10+ years. Interior coating lasts 2–3 years. With a maintenance plan (SiO₂ boost sprays every 3–4 months), the total protection system maintains peak performance for the long term.
