TunerWheels & Fitment

Tuner wheel fitment is geometry, not guesswork. We calculate offset, backspacing, and spoke clearance against your exact chassis — accounting for brake caliper sweep, strut interference, and suspension travel. Whether you're running rotary forged Enkeis on a daily or fully forged 6061-T6 monoblocks on a track car, every wheel leaves our Irving bay Road Force indexed, hub-centric mounted, and torqued to spec.

We do not provide flat-rate estimates — true precision fitment requires calculating exact vehicle geometry. For an exact assessment for your specific chassis, request a free, no-obligation quote.

Rotary Forged Foundation

Flow-formed wheels from Enkei, Forgestar, Konig, and Apex. Cast center with a pressure-rolled barrel that realigns the aluminum grain structure — significantly lighter and stronger than standard cast, at a fraction of fully forged pricing. Ideal for daily-driven tuners and spirited street cars on Dallas-Fort Worth highways.

Flush Fitment & BBK Clearance

Precision offset selection with 3D laser caliper scanning for Big Brake Kit clearance. We calculate the exact x-factor (spoke-to-caliper distance) so the wheel clears 6-piston or 8-piston setups without slip-on spacers. Forged steel lug hardware and full Road Force balancing included.

Fully Forged Optimization

6061-T6 aerospace-grade monoblock wheels from BBS, Volk Racing, HRE, and Forgeline — CNC-machined from a single billet for maximum strength at minimum weight. Knurled bead seats prevent tire slippage under heavy acceleration. Titanium lug hardware, billet aluminum hub rings with anti-seize, and Hunter Road Force Elite indexing.

Precision Fitment Since 2016

Why Choose
Our Irving Bay?

We've been engineering tuner wheel fitment in the Dallas-Fort Worth area since 2016. We don't eyeball offsets or guess at caliper clearance — we measure, calculate, and verify every dimension before ordering a single wheel.

Hunter Road Force Elite Balancing

We don't simply spin wheels to chase a zero readout. Our Hunter GSP9700 applies up to 1,250 lbs of loaded roller force to simulate actual road conditions, indexing the tire's stiffest point to the wheel's lowest runout spot using ForceMatch® — eliminating high-speed harmonic vibrations before they reach your steering rack.

True BBK Caliper Profiling

We physically measure your rotor hat thickness, caliper overhang, and sweep radius with digital calipers before ordering. We calculate the exact x-factor so the wheel spoke curvature clears 6-piston or 8-piston brake setups — without ever resorting to structurally compromised slip-on wheel spacers.

Hub-Centric Load Isolation

We install aerospace-grade billet aluminum hub-centric rings coated in high-temp anti-seize. This ensures the wheel center bore perfectly matches your vehicle's hub lip, transferring rotational load stress directly to the axle rather than shearing the lug studs — critical when navigating Texas clay-heavy soil and uneven rural backroads around the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex.

Pro Tip from the Shop

Shaving just 4 pounds of unsprung mass per corner with a 6061-T6 fully forged wheel has a disproportionate impact on suspension performance — the widely cited industry estimate puts it at roughly 10× the effect of removing the same weight from the body. That translates to measurably improved shock absorber rebound rates and better tire contact patch retention during sudden Dallas-Fort Worth thunderstorms and highway expansion joint impacts.

The Process

01

Geometry & Clearance Audit

We rack the vehicle, measure OEM track width, assess inner strut clearance, evaluate suspension travel angles, and map the brake caliper sweep profile to calculate the exact offset required for your chassis.

02

Dry Fitting & Mating Surface Prep

Before mounting rubber, we test-fit the bare wheel on the hub. Hub face cleaned of iron oxidation with a wire wheel, center bore verified with the aluminum hub ring, and sweep clearance checked across the caliper at full steering lock.

03

Road Force Mounting & Indexing

Tires mounted on a touchless Corghi changer to protect barrel and lip finishes. Assembly run on the Hunter Road Force Elite under 1,250 lbs of simulated road load to index the tire bead and eliminate lateral and radial runout.

04

Torque-Yield Installation & Verification

Wheels seated onto hub rings. All lug hardware hand-threaded to prevent cross-threading, then secured in a star pattern to exact OEM torque spec using a calibrated CDI split-beam torque wrench. No pneumatic impact guns for final tightening.

Avoid These Pitfalls

Where Cheaper Methods Fail

We see these failures regularly from online ordering mistakes and shops that skip the engineering.

Polycarbonate Hub Rings Melting

Cheap plastic hub rings are a guaranteed failure point. Under track-day braking heat or standard friction combined with 100°F+ Texas summer asphalt, polycarbonate rings warp, crack, and melt — immediately breaking the hub-centric seal and causing severe steering wheel shudder. We use billet aluminum rings with high-temp anti-seize.

Offset Guesswork & Suspension Damage

Ordering offsets based on forum guesses forces aggressive negative camber adjustments just to prevent the outer tire block from slashing against the fender lip during compression. This destroys suspension geometry, ruins tire contact patches, and accelerates inner tread wear. We calculate every offset from measured vehicle geometry.

Ignoring Spoke Curvature (Disk Profile)

Failing to specify between an A-disk (standard) or O-disk (high clearance) profile with a BBK means the spokes physically impact the caliper face. Cheap shops solve this with non-hub-centric 15mm slip-on spacers, which reduce lug thread engagement and introduce catastrophic wheel shear risk at highway speeds.

Got Questions?

Frequently Asked Questions

Rotary forged (flow-formed) wheels start as a cast blank with the barrel stretched under heat and pressure — this refines the barrel grain structure but leaves the spokes cast. Fully forged monoblocks are CNC-machined from a solid 6061-T6 billet, giving the entire wheel — including spokes — maximum density and strength at significantly less weight. Fully forged is the gold standard for track and high-performance use.

That depends on the wheel's x-factor (spoke-to-caliper clearance) and disk profile. We physically measure your caliper overhang, rotor hat thickness, and sweep radius, then verify clearance against the wheel's spoke curvature. If you need an A-disk vs. O-disk profile for more clearance, we spec it before ordering — no guessing, no spacers.

For daily driving, quality plastic rings are functional. For track use or aggressive driving in Dallas-Fort Worth summer heat (100°F+ asphalt temperatures), polycarbonate rings can warp and melt under sustained braking heat transferred through the hub. We install billet aluminum rings with high-temp anti-seize on every performance build.

Knurled bead seats are textured grooves machined into the wheel's bead area that increase friction between the wheel and tire bead. They prevent tire slippage (tire creep) under heavy acceleration or hard braking — common on high-torque track cars. If you're running high-horsepower or doing track days, knurled seats are a worthwhile upgrade over smooth bead surfaces.

Standard changers use metal levers and claws that can scratch, gouge, or chip the barrel lip and face finish on expensive wheels. Our Corghi touchless machine uses polymer-coated rollers and a center-lock system — zero metal contact with the wheel's visible surfaces during mounting and demounting.

Titanium (Grade 5 Ti-6Al-4V) is roughly 40–45% lighter than steel with comparable or greater tensile strength. Across 20 lug bolts that's measurable unsprung and rotational mass reduction. Titanium is also corrosion-resistant and won't seize like untreated steel. We recommend them for track builds and high-performance street cars where every gram of unsprung weight matters.
